In downtown Toronto, steps from the ROM, this condo was reimagined for a young family seeking both clarity and comfort in their everyday living. What was once a segmented layout has been opened through the removal of a central wall, allowing light, flow, and connection to define the space.
Soft wood tones, refined stone surfaces, and tailored millwork create a calm, cohesive backdrop, while sleek detailing and thoughtful integrations elevate the experience of daily use.
Every element was considered through the lens of functionality and longevity – from optimized storage solutions to seamless transitions between spaces, resulting in a home that feels both effortlessly elegant and deeply practical.
I worked with Ksenia on our condo renovation and had a wonderful experience. She has a great eye for design and strong visualization skills. Shortly after our initial consultation, she shared a thoughtful and well-structured summary of the design concept, which gave us a clear and inspiring starting point.

Kitchen and Home Bar
The kitchen was fully reimagined by removing the wall between the entrance and the kitchen, opening up the space and allowing for additional storage and a functional tabletop surface accented with textured paneling. This intervention not only improved flow but also visually expanded the area.
Designed in a contemporary style, the kitchen feels bright, open, and effortlessly refined. The use of natural materials introduces warmth and balance, creating a calm and elegant atmosphere. Thoughtfully integrated elements such as a paneled refrigerator, a large undermount sink, and stainless steel accents enhance both functionality and storage capacity while maintaining a clean, cohesive look.
Within a dedicated niche, a custom dry bar was incorporated to complete the space. It serves as a striking focal point for the dining area, adding both visual interest and practical use for entertaining.

Living Room
In the living room, we created a refined, high-end atmosphere through the use of elevated finishes and subtle steel accents that add a modern edge. The design is carefully balanced, introducing pattern and color in just the right proportions to keep the space visually dynamic while maintaining a calm and relaxing feel.
Every element was thoughtfully curated to achieve a cohesive look that feels both sophisticated and inviting—perfect for everyday living as well as entertaining.
Bathroom
The bathroom was completely redesigned and renovated to enhance both functionality and comfort. The new layout features a spacious, wall-mounted double vanity that creates a clean, modern look while visually opening up the space.
Ample storage was thoughtfully integrated, including generous cabinetry and mirrored medicine cabinets, ensuring everyday essentials are neatly organized and easily accessible. The shower was fully refinished, with the ceiling height increased to align seamlessly with the rest of the space, creating a more open and cohesive feel. A built-in niche adds both practicality and a refined detail for everyday use.
To further elevate the experience, a smart toilet was installed, bringing an added layer of comfort and modern convenience. The result is a sophisticated, highly functional bathroom designed for effortless daily living.
